A uniquely versatile musician. An 8-time national harp competition winner since the age of twelve, Laurie graduated as a merit scholar from Indiana University where she was awarded the prestigious Performer’s Certificate, the highest distinction awarded by the world-renowned School of Music.

Laurie’s illustrious travels as a featured soloist, have taken her throughout Japan, Europe, Mexico, and the Caribbean. She has also performed under the direction of Academy Award Winner Tan Dun.

Set 1 – The Story of the Harp

Laurie Leigh opens the evening with a musical journey through the harp’s history. From Bach’s intricate beauty to Debussy’s shimmering impressionism, she brings each era to life with familiar melodies, playful rhythms, and warm storytelling.

Set 2 – The Harp Re-imagined

The second set shifts into a more contemporary mood, where the harp becomes a bridge between tradition and popular song. Laurie pays tribute to Sinatra, Elvis, and the Beatles... weaving their timeless melodies into her graceful arrangements.
