LaSonya Natividad

A Rochester, MN-based vocalist originally from Louisiana, LaSonya brings a rich Southern heritage to every performance. Her voice—spanning mezzo-soprano to contralto—seamlessly blends the depth of gospel with the elegance of jazz and the soul of R&B. Audiences praise her for a sound both powerful and uplifting, described as ‘forceful’ yet deeply moving, with a gift for inspiring and enriching the community through music.

Rocky Schultz

A Rochester-based guitarist, Rocky is co-founder of the 12 piece band "Soul Train" and of the duo "Acoustic Soul" alongside vocalist LaSonya Natividad. Known for his versatile playing style, Rocky weaves elements of jazz, blues, and soul into fresh acoustic arrangements of R&B, pop, and classic hits. His warm tone and inventive accompaniment create the perfect foundation for LaSonya’s powerhouse vocals, making the duo’s performances both dynamic and deeply soulful.
